In addition to the regular Chair Meetings and Working Committee Meetings, the General Assembly meets once a year. Each year, the meeting is hosted by a different national member association, so that the venue changes.

In addition, panel discussions are occasionally held on selected topics.

Several meetings have already been held at special venues, such as the Hansemann HWK training centre and the training centre in London, on key topics such as training in scaffolding.
