Small Business Standards (SBS)

Small Business Standard (SBS) was founded in 2013 and UEG has been a member since the beginning. Through Geir Gule, UEG has also been represented on the board of Small Business Standards (SBS) since 2018.

Standards have a direct impact on everyday work. Membership of SBS enables

  • direct and fast information about European standardization projects in the CEN TC 53
  • direct participation by the expert(s) in the work of the Technical Committees (TC) of the European and international standards organizations

SMEunited

SMEunited is the association of crafts and SMEs in Europe with around 70 member organizations from over 30 European countries. SMEunited represents national cross-industry craft and SME associations, European SME sector organizations and associate members. Together, we represent more than 24 million companies with around 95 million employees across Europe.

SMEunited is also a recognized employers’ association and European social partner. It is a non-profit and impartial organization. SMEunited’s mission is to shape Europe for SMEs and shape SMEs for Europe.
